Cameron joins top choreographers, Kevin Howe, Caroline Torti, Malika Mowinski, Shawn Bracke, Jessica Masse, Liz Schmidt, Corey Gayadeen, Sawyer Coulter, Sheona Bell, Jordan Washington, Lavinia Butuza and Melissa Craig teaching at the Dance Barre’s Masterclass Series, August 12 – 16th, and August 12 -23rd, 2019.

 

 

 

 

In the last dance competition of his amateur career Cameron won the coveted 2018/2019 Senior Male MVA competition at the Velocity Dance 2019 National Finals at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

 

 

 

Cameron left for New Zealand April 23 with Dance Barre owner Blake Angier to assist him teaching at the 2019 Phoenix International Dance Workshops in Palmerston North and Hamilton.

 

Cameron and his dance partner Lily Whitehead performed in their pro video debut featuring Canadian recording artist, Martene Clayton.

Cameron was awarded Senior Solo High Score and received the Senior Male JUMP VIP Scholarship at the 2019 JUMP Dance Convention in Detroit.

 

 

Cameron received the Non-Stop Dancer Scholarship at the 2019 24/Seven Dance Convention in Detroit.

 

 

Cameron won 1st Place Senior Solo and received the Senior Male Core Performer Scholarship at the 2019 February Radix Dance Convention in Toronto.

 

 

On October 20, 2018, after receiving a personal invitation from So You Think You Dance judge, Mary Murphy, Cameron performed a solo at her annual Champion Ballroom Halloween showcase in San Diego. Mary personally worked with Cameron so he could also perform in the event’s opening number.

In his first competition of his last dance season (Tremaine, Dearborn, MI), Cameron won First Place Senior Contemporary Solo and Overall High Score Senior Solo. His group number with the Dance Barre Elite team won 1st overall and was Judges Choice to perform in the faculty show.

After winning the MVA Scholarship at the Velocity Dance Competition in Detroit this season, Cameron attended the 9-day National Finals at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas where he was awarded 1st Runner Up 2018 Velocity Dance MVA(+) Program.

 

 

 

Cameron traveled to Des Moines, IA, with his dance school owners Blake and Lindsay Angier, to assist the five teachers in the Des Moines Dance Project Master Classes.

Cameron accepted an invitation to inspire young dancers and spoke at the August 2018 Lakeshore Senior Summer Dance Camp at the Atlas Tube Center in Belle River, Ontario.
